  1. This looks a bit like the cover of a book I have "White Wolf" by Brandenburg...I love his work and what he has done for wolves!

  2. A fantastic picture of a fantastic animal! I have always loved this picture of yours :)

In scandinavia we have a huge discussion going on. We have just a few wolves but a lot of hunters who is screeming loud "lets kill them beasts". Unfortunateli we also have politicians who alloved them to do, just so :(

I'm frustrated and depressed of what mankind in scandinavia is doing just now!

  4. Many years ago, I was on a solo road trip following the St.Croix down to the southern border of the state. I went into a little town called Frontenac, not knowing what was there and what to expect. I drove past an art gallery in a house. I felt drawn in. They were showing Jim's photographs. I had not yet seen any in person. I was spellbound. I could hardly stand to leave that world of stunningly beautiful photographs. It's one of my favorite memories; it was so unexpected. Another gift from the Universe.

  5. Great capture Jim! This does look like one of the images from your book "White Wolf". I have this book and you have some amazing images of wolves and the ecosystem in which they call home. Your contribution and dedication to saving wolves is to say the least admirable. We need more shooters like yourself to spread the message about saving our planet and it's inhabitants!

  6. "A different level of maturity is acquired, for those whom are 'out there.' The wilderness communicates to those who can listen. Being there, and not for a shot time, is required and doing so solo. The country is 'home' to us and yet so many will be deprived of the knowledge and experiences that sculpt our character by being there. "Bravo" sir Jim, Jim Bridger, I believe...
