Over the past 35 years, the Reserve has been proud to host numerous photography workshops conducted by regionally and nationally recognized photographers, including Ernst Haas in the early 80’s. Join them this fall as they offer a series of unique photographic themed opportunities, including an evening with renowned National Geographic photographer Jim Brandenburg, in our Shaw Photography Series: Finding Your Focus. Registration opens August 1st, 2013, space is limited.
The 2400-acre Shaw Nature Reserve in Gray Summit, Missouri, was established in 1925 to protect the Missouri Botanical Garden's plant collection from the smoke pollution of the 1920’s. Although originally planned as a refuge, it has become a premier educational, research, and habitat restoration and reconstruction site.
Jim Brandenburg has two exhibits available for lease from the Bell Museum of Natural History. To arrange a Jim Brandenburg exhibition for your facility, please contact Don Luce at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (612) 624-1342. A list of the available exhibits is below.
