Update on the Monarch
The monarch is building up some strength for her journey south by eating muskmelon and honey water. We want to thank everyone for their amazing offers of help ranging from driving her south to flying her down to Texas in a private plane. We'll be reviewing the offers this evening and try to get her on her way in a day or two. It is gratifying to see how the love of nature can bring out the best in people!

Help!
We are in need of a competent photographer in Texas to do us a favor. We have a monarch butterfly that hatched far too late in the nothwoods - cold weather and snow arrived early. We'd like to FedEx the butterfly to them in Texas and have it released - Jim would like a photographer to take pictures of the release showing the butterfly flying away. He would like to use the image along with his other images of this butterfly in one of his talks to show the story of the monarch.
Please contact Heidi at heidi@jimbrandenburg.com if you can help us with this in the next few days. Photos of the monarch are below. Thank you!
